Working at the nursery school

7 June 2019

Today, you can read more about the experiences of Cynthia at the nursery school. We are curious to hear how she experienced the first few months at the nursery school. After the finishing of the school day, we asked her some questions.

1. What is your experience of the nursery school, since you work there a couple of months?

It has been a good time! The environment is nice, and the children I teach are so sweet. Also the team of the For a Change foundation is nice to work with and the management is very friendly.

2. Can you describe an average work day?

My day is great. When I go to school, in my mind I am already busy with the children I teach. And when I arrive at school, that is reality. I can interact with them, play with them, learn them things and make fun with them.

3. What is the brightest side of your work?

The nicest thing is to be able to be around the children daily.

4. What is the hardest side of your work?

The hardest for me is to provide the needs of every single child. Every child is different and learns in a different way. That is a challenge, to learn them new things every day in a way they all understand it.

5. What is your wish for the children and the nursery school?

My wish for the children is to be able to see them as they ware mentioned. Not to see them as poor children without chances in the community, but to see them develop the talents they received, so they can have a bright and hopeful future. And I hope that the school will be able to open its doors to many more children, to give them the same chances as my little students receive now.
