Walking together in triumphs and trials

At For a Change Organisation, we believe that every child deserves love, care, education, and the hope found in God’s Word. Over the past years, we have been humbled to see this vision come to life through the running of a nursery school and a primary school, providing daily meals for children, and creating an environment where children can grow academically and spiritually. These milestones remind us that together, we are building more than programs but also we are building a family.

However, with the blessings also come challenges, and the past weeks our family faced a painful loss. We lost one of the children in our program who had been living with a heart condition. While on medication, we were working towards securing surgery for him outside the country. Despite these efforts, his condition worsened, and he passed away.

This is a deeply saddening moment for all of us. As an organization, we do not simply serve children we walk with them, share in their joys, and carry their burdens. His passing is not just the loss of a beneficiary in our program, but the loss of a beloved member of our family.

In moments like these, we are reminded why our mission is so important. We celebrate the progress made so far: schools where children can learn, feeding programs that provide nourishment, and the consistent sharing of the Word of God. At the same time, we recognize the need to remain steadfast in ensuring that needy children not only survive but also thrive.
